Arnold Jones Contemporary Fine Art

Arnold Jones is a contemporary impressionist, a fine artist; a film maker; photographer and technical illustrator specializing in high energy, high design depictions of a wide range of concepts and topics.

Growing up on Lake Michigan, around the waterways in Michigan and later working as a film maker around the coastal cities and waterways of the world has instilled a deep appreciation and respect for the beauty and frailty of the coastal environments. Working exclusively as a fine artist allows Jones to visualize and paint scenes of critical environmental issues. Clean water,
climate change, water levels, erosion, tidal actions, recreational and commercial uses, environmental issues and just life in general around bodies of water are all explored in Jones paintings.

A classic arts education at Kendall College of Art and Design, art studies at MSU and wartime experience of map making and intelligence set the stage followed by an award winning career as a nationally known creative director and motion picture director. Jones career path honed his design and execution skills developing a history of consistently high design.

Jones work has been showcased in national design publications like Communications Arts as well as major design awards festivals and film festivals. The Cines, The U.S.Film and Video Festival, The Addys, The Tellys, The New York Festivals, The Cindys, The Questar Festivals, The American Film Video Festival and The ITVA's have recognized his work with top awards.
